2012 Turnbull Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve boasts a black/purple color along with gorgeous aromas of crushed rocks, blueberry and blackberry liqueur, licorice, graphite and camphor. Full-bodied, backward and atypically tannic and structured for a 2012, this “locked and loaded,” big, massive Cabernet Sauvignon is built for 20-25 years of longevity. It is a spectacular, pure, well-balanced, quintessential Napa Cabernet Sauvignon that is truly world-class. Forget it for 4-5 years and drink it over the following two decades.

2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Pierra
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Pierra comes from the winery’s steepest slopes on its highest eastern valley elevation. Some minerality can be found, but the wine is currently dominated by its gorgeous dark black cherry component. This meaty, full-bodied, opulent 2012 possesses good acidity, excellent tannin, real sucrosity and generosity, and a full-bodied, long finish. It should turn out to be something special. There is something almost Rhône-like in this beauty. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.

2012 Turnbull Cabernet Sauvignon Leopoldina Vineyard
A big-time winner, the dense purple-colored 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Leopoldina Vineyard possesses savory blackcurrant and blackberry fruit deftly touched by toasty oak. The wine builds incrementally on the palate to a full-bodied crescendo at the finish. The tannins are sweet but noticeable, and the wine is long and rich. It should be accessible young yet last for two decades.

The dense opaque purple-colored 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Fortuna Vineyard reveals subtle hints of smoke, licorice and forest floor intertwined with pure blackberry and blackcurrant fruit. Full-bodied as well as elegant and refreshing, this mouthfilling, rich, beautiful Napa Cabernet combines power with grace. Enjoy it over the next 15+ years.

2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Label
The brilliant 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Label offers a heavenly display of spring flowers interwoven with blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit and subtle wood, licorice and lavender in the background. This full-bodied, rich, beautifully pure, textured and complex wine needs another 4-5 years of cellaring, but it should keep for 25-30 years.
